RSPCA Australia Urges Government to Ensure Meat-Only Trade

In a bid to protect livestock of Australian farmers and stop cruelty against animals, the RSPCA Australia has urged the government to ban live exports of the animals and only allow meat trade. Further, the RSPCA Australia wants recommendations in the Groups Breed Livestock Export so that animals are not subjected to cruelty in countries where they are exported live.

As per recommendations, the RSPCA Australia wants the government to ensure that livestock is exported only when the facilities abroad are appropriate enough to take care of their shelter and maintenance.
